The wholesale trade is built around volume. Terms get better the more you take, which works well if you are a chain with a distribution centre and badly if you are one shop with a stockroom. Independent retailers and trade counters are routinely quoted minimums they cannot justify, on ranges picked for somebody else's shelves.

We set Ulas up to sit in that gap. We buy branded stock outright from brands, importers and distributors, hold it at our warehouse in Atherstone, Warwickshire, and break it down into quantities an independent business can actually use. A £250 minimum, mixed cases rather than single-SKU pallets, and free mainland delivery once an order passes £500.

We are deliberately small, and we would rather grow on repeat orders than on claims we cannot back up. Decisions happen in days. Every line traces back to a genuine source with an invoice behind it. If we cannot get something, we say so rather than leaving an enquiry open.
